What you can experience:
The cradle of skyrockets: Kummersdorf-Gut. Half a century insulated by the Soviet army the birthplace of skyrockets is carefully recovered from growing nature. Several testing ranges can be seen, where from 1923 -1938 fuels and power of drive propulsion were given a trial. Although constructed under military purpose and leading to terrible results as V 2 missiles constructed in deadly concentration camps and shot to England and Belgium, space development started with the testing ranges in Kummersdorf-Gut.

One central station of German resistance against Hitler and the Nazi regime: Rangsdorf airfield:
On 20th July 1944 7 a.m. colonel Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg entered a small airplane in Rangsdorf, carrying a bomb in his brief-case to kill Hitler in his headquarter in Wolfsschanze. The action failed and prolonged the World War II for another 9 terrible months and countless victims. Grass covers the runway but a small museum offers detailed information about this important action and location.
